In a world where AI is at an all time high, It’s getting harder and harder to differentiate authentic music from that of AI creation. Aaron Ooi is a 19-year old artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Perth, WA who emphasises the creative freedom in music - something that AI can never replace. His music is a product of experimentation and innovation, which can only best be described as a melting pot of jazz, R&B, and classical soundscapes. From a young age Aaron was always an explorer, picking up the piano, violin and oboe all before the age of 10. From being concertmaster in his state youth orchestra to rapping on stage in front of his school principal, he’s experienced it all. Through 19-years of consuming, feeling and playing music, Aaron’s artistry has developed into what it is today. Currently, Aaron is studying a double major of performance and MP&E at Berklee College of Music, collaborating with other artists and expanding his musical expertise and professionalism every day. Through his music, Aaron hopes to create an experience that feels different to each listener and invites you to listen to his music and be inspired to express your creativity - in whatever form it may take.
